Anyone can pursue IAS the basic eligibility criteria is graduation under any field.
The minimum age is 21 years .
The person should be 21 years old and  only then he can apply for IAS exam.

yes a BA BEd graduate can pursure IAS as education eligibilty criteria for UPSC exam is candidate must hold graduation degree at the time of giving exam.

Of course a student of any background with eligible age can apply for the UPSC examination. After that he has to go through the mains, prelims and other criteria to get into the selection category.

                  Definitely can. After completing your graduation you can apply for Civil Services. So, when you are doing BA or have gone, so in simple word you're doing your graduation. So, you are eligible.

Dear Sunita, the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for UPSC is a Bachelor's degree. While your BA suffices to that requirement, your B.Ed degree adds enough experience when you have to select subjects for your Mains exams. There have been many BA B.Ed graduates who have appeared for UPSC and succeed. So just to answer your question, a BA B.Ed graduate can pursue IAS.
