No, a BAMS or BHMS Doctor is strictly prohibited against prescribing Allopatheic medicine, practicing Allopathy or performing Surgery. You may read the Website of All India Doctors Association and Medical Association to know more about the Rules and Regulations.

If done, is illegal and the person might be put behind bars, if found guilty by court of law.
