Hello Pavan,

The only time in your B. Tech when you can change your college or branch is after the first year because the syllabus of the first year is common for all the branches. And after that, you can not change your college if you are from Lateral Entry or from normal entry.

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that no the btech lateral entry student can't get transfer to the another college in the 3 rd year of its engineering , once he get his admission through the lateral entry he will be continue his study in that college only till he not get his degree,
