Hello,

Yes, the open college student or a distance learner is eligible to give national level exams like NEET, JEE, KVPY, etc. There are no such restrictions to distance learners to not give any such exams. The minimum percentage required in class 12th by the general category students to satisfy the eligibility criteria is 50% and for OBC, SC/ST category students, it is 40%.

Hope your doubts are cleared. Thank you.

Dear aspirant,

This is to inform you that there are no such restrictions on appearing for NEET and kvpy because an open college student can easily apply for both these courses.

The basic eligibility is to score basic or minimum of  75 % in class 11th and 12th maths and science as subjects in class 10th. for KVPY.

As well as for NEET, one must have PCB as stream with a minimum of 50% in general category.
