Hello,

I hope you are doing fine, Yes. As per the norms and regulations decided by India Government for a person to lie in EWS category and hold EWS Certificate, you annual family income should be less than 8,00,000/- and as you have mentioned that your annual family income is less than 8,00,000/- which makes you eligible for EWS Reservation. Apart from the annual income criteria there are some other criterion which need to be satisfied for getting an EWS certificate. Those candidates whose family own any of the following assets will also not be eligible to avail reservation benefits under EWS quota.

  • 5 acres of agricultural land and above
  • Residential flat of 1000 sq ft. and above
  • Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities
  • Residential plot of 200 sq yards and above in areas others than the notified municipalities.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.

Good Luck
