No, you cannot change your stream after passing class 11th.

This is because,

As per the rules of CBSE , a student is not permitted to change his/her subject of study after passing Class XI. He or she will not be offered any subject in Class XII which she or he has not studied and passed in Class XI.

But yes, one can change his stream /subjects in class 11  but not after 31st October of that academic session.

Stream selection is preceded by a very strong career counselling cell in our schools. So by which they are made aware from earlier class only. They are made to write their goals, plans, and skills required and the thing is to keep their options open as far as possible and they are made aware of that. See, we have to abide by the board rules. For change of stream, permission has to be sought. In our schools we give an option to a child for the first 15  days to attend any class of his choice just to get a feel of the subject. We also have a program by which more details are given to the child about study abroad in that profession, internship program, etc. and I think that helps to ascertain but still if the student wants to change then the provision is to take the permission.

Sorry to say you but a student can't change their stream after the class 11th. you have to choose the stream whether you will go to the science before the class 11th only. long days ago students were allowed to change their subject. Hope this will help you
