Can an Indian join the SAS? Commonwealth citizens can join the British Armed Forces, right?

Hi,

You can apply. But make sure you have a sponsor in the UK and have clean police and medical records. If above-mentioned factors are okay, then apply via the army website and someone from the recruitment team will contact you via mail.

While Commonwealth citizens can join the British Army more easily than ever, there are some criteria that they must meet: Commonwealth citizens must make sure that they have permission to enter the UK. Therefore, you must be able to stay in the UK legally for the entire recruitment process.

You can find all the roles currently available to Commonwealth applicants below. To apply, you will need to hold a valid passport and meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen role. If you're an overseas applicant, you need to be age 18 or over and have a Visa.
