Can an OBC candidate with income more than Rs.8 Lakh per annum fall under OBC category selection for NEET? Or he falls under general category for NEET selection

Hello Sruthi,

If a candidate who belongs to OBC category and his/her family income is above eight lakhs then they come under OBC- creamy layer (CL) on the other side if the income is below eight lakhs they come under OBC- Non creamy layer and they are eligible to claim their reservation whereas OBC-CL candidates cannot claim any reservation and they are considered as general category.
