Hello,
As the pattern and difficulty level of jee advanced changes every year it is difficult to give specific range of marks. It may have dip if the paper is tough and can rise if the paper is easy.In 2020 the cutoff was around 69 marks whereas in 2019 it was around 84 for general category.
According to the data of 2019 for SC rank 1-100 the mark range was from 146-284.Sine the last year paper was on a tougher side so there is surely a dip in the range.Similar to 2019 in 2018 the range for top 100 was 148-278.But in the year 2017 the paper was simple and the range increased to 200-303 marks. So an exact range cannot be predicted . So for securing a better rank it is better to be on a safer side to score 180+ rather than relying on previous year cutoff. Also remember if the paper is tough never try reach your target score rather focus on answering the questions correctly which are known.
Use the JEE Main 2026 Rank Predictor to estimate your expected rank based on your scores or percentile and plan your college options smartly.
