Hiiii Gaurav!!! You can pay for improvement exam in any specific subject or whatever subject you want to improve your marks in. You will be needing to submit the fees per subject. You need to apply online for that and fill the application form which you will get in the official website.

Ma'am can we give improvement exam for a specific subject in Maharashtra board as well ? Please answer as soon as possible ma'am .
