Hello Aspirant,

Every year UPSC conducts Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination. It has 3 levels, (preliminary, Mains Examination and personality test). Only students of Science and Engineering background are eligible to take examination.

This is how examination goes :

• Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper (300 marks)

• English Qualifying Paper (300 marks)

• General Essay type paper (200 marks)

• General Studies papers (300 marks each)

• Optional subjects papers (300 marks each)

And then interview.
