CAT entrance official notification and registration of 2018 will start on 1st week of August. Last date for application may be around 3rd week of september. Exam date will be in November and the results will be declared in January 2019.

If you are planning to start your MBA or PGDM this year, CAT wouldn't be a good option. There are many other entrances which can get you into good colleges like XAT, CMAT, GMAT, BITSAT, GMAT etc. Once go through them for better choice.
