Though it has brainy scientists they are mortal and they need time to rest. AI on other hand need no rest because they run on electricity and it would need the best computer scientists ,astronomers,rocket scientists etc. to make a very good AI. ISRO leveraged Artificial Neural networks (ANN) which is generic name for a large class of machine learning algorithms, most of them are trained with an algorithm called back propagation.

ISRO is primarily responsible for developing space technology used for national development. As per the official ISRO Recruitment notification 2018, the ISRO had issued total 106 vacancies for Scientist Engineers Computer Science under Department of Space.
