They earn around a lakh if they practice in government hoapitals,( one needs to have good amount of degrees to earn lakhs from a government hospital) + they may also earn around 2 lakhs from private hospitals. Besides, some doctors check patients twice or even thrice a  and there's always a crowd in their chamber. You can calculate their earnings from it. An experienced doctor may also open up hia own nursing home and earn a lot. Surgeons earn more than others from the surgery.
