Hello,

Yes, you can still appear for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) without your Class 12 result, as most universities allow you to apply provisionally if your Class 12 results are pending.

Hello Alina,

Yes, you can appear for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) without your 12th result, as the eligibility to appear for the exam is based on fulfilling the minimum criteria for admission at the time of counseling, not during the exam. Here's what you can do:

Steps to Take:

  1. Apply for CUET Now :

    • During the CUET application process, you can select "Result Awaited" or a similar option for your 12th-grade status if it's available in the form.

    • Make sure to fill in all other details accurately.

  2. Ensure You Meet Eligibility Later :

    • CUET allows provisional admission if your 12th results are not declared before the exam. However, you must submit your results during counseling/admission as per the university's deadlines.

    • Check the specific deadline for result submission at the universities you’re applying to via CUET.

  3. NIOS Result Declaration Timing :

    • Since your NIOS result will be declared in June , verify that the universities you’re targeting through CUET accept late result submissions for admission.

  4. Contact CUET/University Helplines :

    • To confirm policies for "result awaited" candidates, contact the CUET helpline or the universities' admission offices directly.

      Important Points:
  • CUET Eligibility : Students from NIOS are fully eligible to apply for CUET.
  • Final Admission : Ensure your NIOS result meets the required minimum marks for the program you are applying for.

By following these steps, you can appear for CUET even before your 12th result is declared.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Yes, you can appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) even if your Class 12 results are pending, The National Testing Agency (NTA) allows students who are appearing for their Class 12 examinations to apply for CUET,
find an option to mark yourself as an "appearing candidate." Use this to proceed with your application

You must meet these specific eligibility criteria set by the universities you intend to apply to, like for general category students, a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 is required, while reserved categories may have a relaxation in marks.
