Hello student no you should carry transfer certificate. As documents needed are
Documents to Submitted for Verification

Print out of Maharashtra M.Tech 2019 application form

Receipt of online payment of the application fees

Birth certificate/school leaving certificate/Passport to confirm the nationality of the candidate.

HSC and SSC mark sheets

Degree qualifying examination (or equivalent) mark sheet

GATE 2019 Score Card (if applicable)

Domicile certificate (if applicable)

Caste certificate (if applicable)

Caste/Tribe validity certificate (if applicable)

Non-Creamy Layer certificate (if applicable)

Any other relevant documents
