Photocopies of original are signed by the authority like in case marksheet of school attested by Principal of school and in case college attested by Dean of college and sometimes they ask to produce copies self - attested also.
A Gazetted Officer, can also attest the photocopies of the documents. You should look out for a Gazetted Officer in yoir vicinity and you can approach him/her with original documents with the request to attest the photocopies.
