Yes, you can avail the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) quota in B.Tech admissions if you have an EWS certificate from Bihar, provided that the certificate is valid and issued by a competent authority in the state.

my ews certificate was issued on 23 feb 2025 only from bihar. And DU says that they need EWS certificate issued from April 1 2025 only. But in bihar , ews cant be renewed before its expiry. So should i Reapply for an EWS in may 2025 so as to get admission in Du from CSAS portal??
