Recruitment for Sub Inspector is done by Staff Selection Commiission for Delhi Police, CAPFs etc and then the recruitment also takes place on state level, for which official notification is released by state police board, the academic criteria in both the cases remain the same, that is candidates need to have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, even if you aim for higher post of IPS, you need to fulfill this criteria.
