I would suggest you have to know atleast the basics of organic chemistry such as the general nomenclature of organic chemistry, chain reactions of Isomers, name and classification of reactive polymers, Substitution and Elimination reactions as it would help you to get the fundamentals clear.

So, just brush up your fundamentals and get up with your class 12th standard organic chemistry.
