No, you can not attempt all the 10 questions of section B or numerical value questions you have to attempt only 5 of the 10 numerical value questions.
Detailed examination question pattern of JEE mains 2021 is provided below:-
In your JEE Mains 2021 examination paper 1 , there will be a total of 90 question, out of which 75 questions are to be attempted
And these questions are from three sections/subjects :-
* 30 questions are from physics
* 30 questions are from Chemistry
* 30 questions are from maths
Out of 30 questions in each subject ,A section will have 20 questions which are MCQs and B section will have 10 questions are questions with numerical value as the answer , out of which only 5 questions are to be attempted. So, out of 30 questions in each subject only 25 questions are to be attempted, so in total 25 x 3 = 75 questions out of 90 questions are to be attempted.
Each question carries 4 marks
Exam is conducted for a total of = 75 x 4 = 300 marks
Marking scheme :-
*four marks is awarded for your every correct answer * 1 mark in deducted for your every wrong answer MCQs * no marks is deducted for your wrong answer in case of numerical value question
