Hi Aditi,

Yes, you can appear for Science related papers / Physics paper in Gate exam .

You don't have any restrictions to write any of the paper it completely depends on you that which paper you choose so, if you achieve a good rank in your opted paper in Gate exam then you can get selected for M.Tech in colleges like IITs/IIITs and NITs in your desired/interested branch.
