If you are insecond yearthen youcan'tchange your branch. If you have cleared 2nd sem then youcan change your branchwithinthecollege. But make sure whichbranchyou want to , must have some empty seats. Ifyourcollege has CS 60 seats and all seats are full

I would like to inform you that yes you can definetly change your branch from petrochemical engineering to computer science and engineering at the end of first year. Different colleges have different conditions applied, while most of them follow that your first year YGPA must be 9 or more than 9 to be promoted.

Sorry to say but you cannot change your branch from the second year. 

You can only change your branch after the end of the first year if your college has got rules and criteria.

At the end of first year also you can change your branch according to you if you have got the required gpa and filfil the criteria.

Hello aspirant, you can surely change your stream in second year . You need to score atleast 85 % in first year both semesters one and two combined to change your stream without any backs. So you can get the preferable branch by being eligible for the above guidelines. All the best

You can't change your stream in 2nd year.You can only change your streaim in 1st year.Also branch swapping is not available in all Engineering College.In some engineering college this facility available like IITs,IIITs etc and in some state engineering college like BIT SINDRI.Sorry to say you can't change your stream in 2nd year.
