Can I change my branch in the second year of Engineering?

Hello Candidate,

Yes,you can.

But it must satisfy the following conditions.

Your CGPA must be at-least 8.5 or above in 10 scale. (This is most vital but it varies from university to university)

You must have no backlogs in your 1st year.

Your 1st year studied subjects must be equivalent to your new branch’s 1st year study subjects. ( Don’t worry about it. It’s often remains same.)

You have to apply for this within the stipulated time given by the University and with adequate application format.

Your expecting branch must have vacant seats else it is not possible.
