Can i change my optional subject in Ba 3rd year honours even after failing in that subject?

Changing subjects is also dependent on the university you are attending, as some do not allow for subject changes. You must contact your management department and request that the subject be changed. If your university allows you to change your subject, fill out an application form with all of your information and submit a few required documents to the university. They'll look over the details and requirements, and if you meet them, they'll change your subject.

In most of the cases, there will be a chance but you are saying that you are a 3rs year student, which arises a small doubt. so first of all, its better to consult with the management and then take a decision.
