No, you cannot select the exam date and shift for the AIIMS MBBS examination. Candidates are only allowed to select their test centres. 

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Online Registration is done in two stages- 

Basic Registration and 

Final Registration

The Basic Registration process of AIIMS MBBS has been started from November 30, 2018 and the last date to complete the basic Registration is January 3, 2019.

During the Basic Registration process, candidates have to fill their personal details  (Full name, parent’s name, date of birth, gender, category, state of domicile, ID proof/number and others), contact details, AIIMS preferences (candidates have to choose AIIMS institutes as per their preferences for admission) and candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.

The remaining details will have to be filled in the final registration process. Choice of exam city will also be given during the final Registration. 

Candidates whose Basic Registration will be accepted and those who have generated the codes will be eligible to complete the processes of final Registration. 

In the final registration process, after submitting the online fee, you will be able to select the city for the examination centre. 

Once you will be directed to the City choice page, there will be City availability list which will show the real-time seats available at that particular time in a city and from that list, you will have to choose the city. From the list of cities, you will have to choose the preferences of cities in which you want to take admission.

Also, it should be noted that preferences of cities should be done with utmost care as once the city is chosen it cannot be changed. The exam centre will be allotted on the first come first served basis. So, it is advised not to wait till the last date.

Last year the exam was held in 155 exam cities. AIIMS MBBS 2019 Brochure has not been released yet and it is expected that exam centres may change this year. 

Details such as the exam slot, date of AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam, name and address of the exam centre along with the city will be mentioned on the AIIMS MBBS admit card. 

Admit card will be issued on May 15, 2019.
