To qualify in NEET, all you will need is may be 150 marks even considering the fact that cut offs might change. That is as well called cracking the exam. But what matters is you scoring marks good enough to secure a MBBS seat. Now there are Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/ Central Universities. The cut offs vary across all these Medical Colleges. And then your Category also comes into picture. In general, a score of 500 is as well at times considered less for a seat in a Medical College. For example, in 2018, 469 was the cut off for OBC in UP GMCs. By 2019, things changed and even 530 marks had to wait until Mop up Round. With NEET being postponed from May to September, Candidates had additional 4 months to prepare for NEET which means the competition is going to be real tough. When compared to 4 months of preparation, 4 weeks of preparation pale off and that puts you in a difficult spot to secure good marks. But again as they say, better late than never, if you start today without postponing to another time, you can still score decent.
