Yes, you can easily do an MBA even if your 12th marks is less than 50%. If you can get above 95 percentile in CAT, you can surely get into one of the top B-schools of the country. Many b-schools shortlist based on the CAT score. However some Bschoools take your entire profile into consideration while calling for interviews (CAT percentile & percentages in10th, 12th & bachelors). Once shortlisted for personal interviews, most of the interview panel would like to know the “Why”. “Why” did you score low. Was it circumstantial or was it mere dis-interest or mediocrity. They need to get convinced that you are at par (if not better) with any other student getting into the b-school. So you need to have a reasonable answer.
