Generally, the ANM course is a 2-year diploma designed for female candidates who want to work in rural healthcare and nursing.The basic eligibility is 10+2 (Arts or Science) stream with at least 45–50% marks. You should also be physically fit and preferably aged between 17 and 35 years.

As for the fee structure, it is quite affordable in government colleges. At AMCH or similar state-run colleges, the ANM fee ranges between 10,000 to 25,000 per year, depending on the facilities. Additional charges for hostel, uniform, and books may apply. Once you complete the course, you can work as an ANM nurse in primary health centers (PHCs), hospitals, or apply for government jobs through state exams.
