Yes, you can do B.des in industrial design after class 12th. It is a 4 yrs course. It opens gate for career in product designer, industrial designer researcher, graphic designers, art director, drafters, industrial engineer, desktop publisher, architect, etc.

Eligibility: Cleared class 12th in any stream with min 50% marks from a recognised board in india.

For getting admission in top/ good colleges for b.des industrial design, you have to appear for entrance exams, followed by selection process of colleges including GD & interviews.

Few good colleges to target for this course are:

Sid, nid Ahmedabad, nifd, amity university, Chandigarh University, delhi college of arts, sfi delhi, wud sonepat, dtu delhi, mitid, nift (s), nid (s), fad international, idc mumbai, inifd pune, etc.

Salary: the average starting package that you can expect is 4.5 lacs pa and it can go as high as 20 lacs pa and above.

After clearing your 12th, write the following exams: Aieed, ceed, nift, nid, mit, neet, etc and clear the cut offs for top institutes to get admission.
