Thanks a lot for your answer. I'm sorry to doubt it but everywhere I looked, it says the eligibility criteria is MS General Surgery. It doesn't mention MS Ortho/ENT anywhere. Could you please direct me to a official link where I can confirm this? I am very confused as everyone gives mixed opinions.

I have the same doubt.Previously M.S.ortho was eligible to d(like M.S.Gen surgery) to do 3 year course in superspeciality like neurosurgery. Pediatric surgery,plastic surgery.But MCI took of the eligibility of M.S.ortho and now only M.S.Gen surgery is eligible. And according to our superintelligent MCI M.S.ortho is eligible to do Mch in surgical oncology!.What will a orthopaeduc surgeon do in learning surgery of colon.etc.I don't know which gave such wonderful ideas to MCI.
