Hii,The decision of de-recognition of CPS DCh diploma is done after the consultation with Medical Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. However, no notification of de-recognition of the DCh diploma course has been released by the respective authorities. Earlier, as per the notification published on January 22, the ministry of health and family welfare de-recognised 36 medical postgraduate diplomas granted by College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS).

It is still a matter of question that on what grounds did MCI and ministry derecognised these courses. However, asp per the leading papers, in 2017 there was a rush to recognise the PG diplomas without following the complete technical procedure.

CPS DCh diploma is one of the courses which has not been de-recognised by the ministry.

Hope this helps and all the best...:)
