Hello Muskan,

No, you cannot directly get admission to a B.Sc. Nursing course after passing 10th standard.

To be eligible for B.Sc. Nursing, you must have completed 10+2 (12th) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects.

After 10th, you can consider options like:

  • Diploma in Nursing (General Nursing and Midwifery - GNM) , which usually requires 10+2 or sometimes 10th pass with science subjects, depending on the institute and state rules.

  • After completing GNM, you may become eligible for some lateral entry options into B.Sc. Nursing.

So, for B.Sc. Nursing admission, completing 12th standard with the required subjects is necessary.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
