The entrance examination conducted is for 23 Indian Institute of technology campuses, 31 National Institute of Technology campuses, 25 Indian Institute of Information Technology campuses and 19 other government funded technical institutes that is based upon the running and the score got by the individual candidates.

Now if you want to take admission beside these top engineering colleges likewise in some private colleges then yes they conduct their own entrance examination or somehow they directly admit the students on the basis of their 12th percentage marks then there you can get your admission without giving JEE mains and advanced exams.
