No,you cann't take admission in the government colleges on the basis of 12th marks.Every government colleges demands score card of entrance examination.Entrance examination is prerequisite for securing admission in government engg colleges.Every gvernment colleges has their own entrance examination.And you need to qualify in it to take admission.Institutes like NITs and IIITs accepts JEE MAINS Score for admission and IITs accept JEE advance score for admission.No government colleges accepts intermediate score for admission.
