No , you can't get admission into b.tech college after 1st semester. For admission through jee mains , you have to attend counselling conducted by JOSSA. There you have to select your choices of college and branches. I..e for getting admission in any b.tech college you have to go through step by step process.

No, it is impossible.You can only get admission in any engineering college only if you go through the entire process if jee mains from exam counselling and seat allocation and this process will lead you to get admission in a fresh session.The only way you can enter a college and that too in 2nd year is by a lateral entry exams and that is only possible of you are a diploma holder in any branch of engineering.

Sorry to say but it isn't possible for a fresher to get enrolled directly in 2nd semester in any college.
However some diplome holders get admission directly in 2nd year of any college.

Yes it is possible to get admissions into a new college or university though JEE Mains. You just need to fill the details accordingly in the application form of JEE Mains. But if you are expecting that they will directly enroll you into second semester that is not possible. You will be enrolled as a fresh candidate into the college or university next year.

B.Tech. admissions through JEE-Mains results can only be done throung the seat allocation counselling that is held after the exams. After the rounds are over, admissions cannot be done through the JEE-Mains results. If you want admissions, you need to seek admissions through the different entrance exams accepted by various colleges.
