Donation requires when u don't attempt Entrance Exam like CAT / MAT / SAT.

Else u will get admission on your entrance Exam results.

Admission Fees is Declared by respective colleges and institutions.

Which college are you talking about?

Whichever be the college, if you have a good rank in CAT (if the university conducts its own exam then the rank in that exam) then you have a good chance of getting into a college without having to pay donation.
