NDA is National defence academy examination..And there's not present any kind of reservation. No caste reservation is there and no defence category reservation present. Only government allow 10% EWS category reservation. Which is for those students are economically weak. Otherwise you don't get any reservation for defence background.

Sorry to say but any defense related exam be it NDA, CDS or AFCAT there is no reservation of any kind. Not even to the ex servicemen  family. Your admission will be guaranteed on your hard work and potential

If you clear the written test and also clear the SSB then you will get admitted into defense but if not then you won't be.

They follow the policy of merit based selection.
