Hello Aspirant,

EWS certificate is an income and asset certificate issued to the citizens belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society. The EWS certificate is issued for the financial year in which you are applying. You cannot get a backdated EWS Certificate. If you apply as on 3rd June 2020, then You'll get an EWS Certificate for Financial year 2020-21 which will be valid for next 1 year.
