No, you cannot apply for EWS if you are an obc candidate because it would be equivalent to as if you are taking a seat of a person who genuinely require the reservation and who is economically weak and this EWS is only for general candidates.

So, if you are an OBC candidate then please do apply for obc certificate as ews reservation is not for you.
