Hey Shanthosh,

As per the range of previous year, the cut off for OC was 187.50, for BC it was 184 and for MBC, it was 180 to get into CSE in REC, Chennai.  A/c to this range, the chances are very rare and less to get into REC CSE branch with 164.5.

Although, the range vary every year a bit or more so you might get into with that cut off. But do prepare a back up plan to be on the safe side.
