You have a good score in GATE exam. You should apply for Amrita University. Gate cutoff is not available for AU. Top colleges like IIT accept 500-700 score so there is high chance that you will get admission in  400 score. Cutoff is decided by the organization officials. To get an admission into MTech , GATE/TANCET/PGCET /PGECET is accepted. So they decide cutoff on the basis of the seat matrix available and to fill it with good scoring candidates.
Probability of getting admission is high on the basis of your GATE score.
