to get scholarship you must take admission in  the institute which is affiliated under aicte and approved by ugc, however there is certain criteria you must fulfill to get gate scholarship is as follows:

you must enroll for full time m.tech/ m.e program

In case Admission is done  before or after GATE/GPAT validity shall not be considered for GATE/GPAT scholarship

Creamy layer OBC applicants who had qualified under OBC category are not eligible for GATE scholarship.

Applicants qualified under SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Physically Handicapped not having valid category  certificate are not eligible for GATE/GPAT scholarship.

This scholarship is meant to support the post-graduate studies of GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted to ME/ MTech/ MArch and MPharm courses in AICTE approved institutions.
