Well, brother it is very hard to say.

I acknowledge, you have worked hard to get admit into NIT but leaving all the hopes to the spot round is not a wise decision I would say.

Also, more of a fact, your home state is valid only for NIT AP and regarding NIT AP, it has not even a permanent infra, faculty and not even ranked by NIRF.

So, I wold recommend you to prefer state engineering college over prefering NIT AP. Also, many state engieerning college like LMNIT, HBTU etc are far better than even mediocre NIT's
