The entering and closing ranks differ based on various factors such as number of candidates appeared and qualified, number of seats available, course,college,category of candidates and so on. You haven't specified your category. Also the rank is determined based on combined score of student calculated as 25% of intermediate exam+75% obtained in EAMCET. In order to obtain a veterinary seat a general candidate have to score a rank between 1000-3000 which is approximately equal to the combined score of 70 and above.
