No, you cannot give CAT exam immediately after 12 because you are not eligible clearly.

The eligibility criteria for entering into CAT exam is specified below;

Hold bachelor's degree with no less than 50% or equal CGPA ( 45% for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Person With Disability/ Differently Abled ).

Also, there is no polytechnic exam specifically for BBA, and clearly not just after 12th , although there is a management programme. I notice that you are from Gujarat and the Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses ( ACPDC ) will conduct Gujarat Diploma 2019 admission process to admit candidates to diploma programme offered by Polytechnic Institutes in the State.

The online application form is starting from 1st week of May, 2019 and last till 2nd week of June, 2019.

The admission to the course is done through the following channels only,

1. SSC

2. TEB

3. ITI

Eligibility criteria:-

1. Passed the qualifying exam with minimum marks as prescribed by AICTE from; • Gujarat Board

          • CBSE or CISCE or the International School Board or NIOS or Sanskrit Pathshala.

2. Provided, the Institute in which the candidate has studied at is located in,

• State of Gujarat.

• Union Territory of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli and whose parents are

4. Candidates has done schooling under Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidhyalaya Scheme upto class 8th is an Institute located in the state of Gujarat.

Polytechnic Exam is not for pursuing BBA. It is for taking up diploma engineering courses. Most colleges screen candidates based on their 12th standard scores. Few of the colleges to conduct their own entrance tests for admissions to BBA. CAT (Common Aptitude Test) is taken for MBA courses. You can surely appear for CAT after graduation or in the final year of graduation.
