Yes, you can give CSIR NET for microbiology subject. You need to have scored more than 55% in your M.SC level, if you are from general category and 50%, if you are from SC/ST/PWD category. There is no age limit for applying this exam, however if you're up to apply for CSIR NET JRF, then you must not be more than 28 years.
