I am hoping that you are absolutely fine and doing well. As per your mentioned query, you will be glad to know that yes you can give GATE exam if you have gap between your btech and 12th. As per the eligibility criteria of this exam , there is no age limit for appearing for the exam. And also candidates who are studying in 3rd or higher year of an undergraduate program or have completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2024.
