Yes you can give gate exam in cse strea even after studying other courses. Just you need to prepare for cse gate along with your course. There is no restrictions on appearing for any particular subject in gate. The eligibility criteria says that:
Candidates must have passed or should be in pre final year graduation in engineering/technology or Masters degree in any relevant science subject tk be eligible for gate 2021.
