As per your question, NO you cannot give the improvements exam for two or more subjects in the same year for CBSE. You will only be allowed to give a single subject improvement exam, in an year.

No additional subject can be chosen for the Improvement Exam, only the subjects in which candidate had previously appeared can be chosen. The improvement exam can be given only for the Five main subjects. You can't do so .
